FAQ

Where does the data come from?

From the Florida Division of Corporations' free public daily data files (new corporations, LLCs, partnerships and fictitious names/DBAs).

How fresh is it?

Files are published on state workdays. We process each file the same day it becomes available. No file is published on holidays or office closures.

How do you decide the county?

By the ZIP code of the principal address (falling back to the mailing address). DBAs also carry a county field from the state.

How is the industry assigned?

Automatically from the business name with keyword rules. It's a best guess; names without clues are labeled “other”.

What does “date flag” mean?

Some records carry a File Date far in the past or in the future (backdated or delayed-effective filings). We flag them so you can focus on genuinely new businesses.

Do you include phone numbers or emails?

No. The public files contain business names and addresses, not phone numbers or emails.

Can I use the list for cold outreach?

You are solely responsible for complying with CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, the National Do Not Call Registry, Florida's telemarketing laws and any other applicable law. See the Terms.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
